The UFC star has been vocal on social media

Conor McGregor has launched a fresh attack on Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, branding him a 'scumbag' and a 'European crook'.

The UFC icon has regularly criticised Varadkar over the past few weeks, while also making it clear he'd be open to a future career in politics.

McGregor has previously hit out at Varadkar after riots broke out in Dublin following a mass stabbing.

And he's also branded the Irish Prime Minister a 'disgrace' for comments made about a hostage who was held by Hamas.

On X, Lawyers for Justice Ireland relayed news from Ocean FM saying 90 male immigrants will be placed in rural Cavangarden, Ballyshannon.

"Ocean FM announced today that 90 male immigrants are to be brought in to rural Cavangarden, Ballyshannon," they said.

"The local population have not been consulted and many immigrants are arriving in Ireland with false or no documents meaning background checks cannot be carried out.

"The Department of Justice figures show that between January and November 2022, a total of 5,074 people applying for asylum in Ireland presented either 'false or no documentation' on their arrival.

"Will the locals of Donegal let their voices be heard like the brave people of Dromahair?

"The people from Leitrim showed what can happen when a community pulls together."

And McGregor has now vented his fury while also attacking Varadkar.

"This phenomenon, which began early 2023 in East Wall Dublin, has been seen happening non stop across the length and breadth of Ireland," he said.

"Greed on the part of the failed hoteliers and building owners, as well as the bus companies.

"Destabilization on the part of government. Surely, it is this.

"You cannot tell me this procedure isn’t a major lapse in the security of our country.

"If 10 years ago, when figures of entrants were a fraction of what they are now, we allowed a man with a dangerous criminal record slip through the cracks, gain state support, and then murder one of our own in broad daylight as she was out jogging, how do we expect more of the same not to slip through the cracks now?

"When numbers are so much higher? We are not prepared for this.

"Not via our housing, not via our health system, not via our screening processing.

"Yet it is continuing as if we are. An 'Taoiseach', you scumbag, you maggot.

"You are a boot licker of foreign entity.

"You are not Irish. You are a European crook.

"You said you are not asking for the permission of our communities if you can house these people in our towns, you are telling.

"The communities will grant you the same courtesy and not tell you they are going to stop it.

"You are harbouring the ruination of Ireland. Shame on your mother."
